Dr. Daniel Dimitriu grew up in South Florida, inspired by his father’s passion for dentistry. After completing a two-year residency at the University of Miami & Jackson Memorial Hospital, he joined his father at Dimitriu Dental in Deerfield Beach in 2021.
Dr. Dimitriu has served both locally and abroad, volunteering at a South Florida church and on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. He continues to advance his skills through ongoing education in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign®, and restorative care, ensuring patients receive the most modern treatment options.

With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Sorin Dimitriu has practiced dentistry in Romania, Denmark, and South Florida. For the past 35 years, he has proudly called Florida home. After working in a group practice in Coral Springs, he opened Dimitriu Dental in Deerfield Beach in 1999, where he continues to provide high-quality, personalized dental care.
Dr. Sorin is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through services ranging from preventive and family dentistry to cosmetic and restorative treatments. His commitment to excellence and compassionate care have earned him the trust of generations of families in the community.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sorin enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 40 years, their two sons—both dentists—and his greatest joy: watching his family carry on the tradition of dentistry.
